Welcome to another weekly roundup of Ice’s comic reviews! Comics for this week: Batman #47, Star Wars Annual #1 and Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (Of 4)! Batman #47 DC Written by: Scott Snyder Art by: Greg Capullo Batman has had long-running arcs lately, as this issue is the seventh chapter of the current “Superheavy” story. Being that we’re just a couple months away from the 50th issue of the story, and surely nearing the end of the arc, curveballs start to get thrown. The climax approaches, but Snyder handles it in a different way where it doesn’t feel like it’s here, but there’s no denying what happens with Bruce Wayne near the end of this issue as well as the surprise appearance (you see it in the comic, too good to spoil here) with the issue’s cliffhanger means that the tables have turned. The fireworks have been lit and we’re just waiting for the bang. Bruce and friend don’t get all the fun as we still have Bat-Gordon and Bloom to deal with.
