Welcome back to another weekly roundup of Ice’s comic reviews! Comics for this week: Batman #50 and Uncanny X-Men #5! Batman #50 DC Written by: Scott Snyder Art by: Greg Capullo The moment we all knew was coming and waiting for – the return of Batman! Bruce Wayne Batman! Most people would say the ‘real’ Batman, but Gordon Batman, despite the bunny-looking bot-suit became his own Batman during the last year and lived up to the name in his own way. As the last part of the long-running ‘Superheavy’ arc, it does its job with wrapping the story, but still leaving some questions (which is a good thing here). We finally find out the origin of Mr. Bloom (who’s a great new addition to Batman’s rogues- one that hopefully makes a return one day) which was a little surprising as nothing before it really connected to it, seeing who started it all. That said, Mr. Bloom definitely blossomed into a formidable character (get it? ‘Cuz he’s a flower and all? Tough crowd, tough crowd…). Batman returns not only with a brand new bat-suit, which looks great and all (but come on- the classic can never be beat), but...
